“STAR TREK” – WHO KNEW THAT WE…”

HEADLINE: “Star Trek-like invisible shield found thousands of miles above Earth…” University of Colorado Boulder

boulderhttp://www.colorado.edu/news

For me, this revelation requires some Cosmos like questions:

  1. Has this Star Trek-like Shield been there (wherever that is) all along?
  2. Did it reveal only when Humankind’s technology and curiosity to probe advanced?
  3. Does The Cosmos unveil our Earth’s secrets only when the time is right?
  4. Are we Humankind wise enough to not interfere with such a revelation?
  5. I ask because doesn’t Humankind destroy, one way or another, all we intend to overcome?
  6. Last, and not least, will Humankind grasp that this Star Trek-Shield covers YOU and ME.

Humankind: Can We Hear the “Hymn of the Universe?”

pierre

Introduction: I do not presume to describe for you the “Hymn of the Universe” by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin {1881-1955}. A French philosopher and Jesuit priest who trained as a paleontologist and geologist (pictured).

Visitor: Why should I care about a hymn or a dead French philosopher?

JLM’S Garden: “These are great questions and the answer below may surprise you!”

Reflections:

Words: Hymn is a chant or mantra. The universe is creation or life. Humankind is a word meaning human race or civilization.

When I look out at Mother Earth I hear no hymn, only the noise that is chaos and insurrection.

Yet, when I look into the Cosmos I sense the energy that is the potential of humankind.

In today’s technological world we can absorb—in most languages—the intention of the writings in the “Hymn of the Universe” or any other treatise we choose to wonder about. Well, except for our sisters and brothers denied admittance to evolution that only consciousness can bring.

Answer:  In his writings on “Planetary Mind and Our Spiritual Evolution” our same French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin says this: “The coming stage of evolution won’t be driven by physical adaptation but by human consciousness, creativity, and spirit.

“EARTH… SHOOTING OFF?”

_done_0415npoledebris_900I was out walking this morning and saw a snake in the grass… OOPS that reference to politicians just slipped out…

As I was saying: I was out walking this morning—there really was a snake—and the thought crossed my mind how earth’s gravity keeps me from shooting off: who knows where to? This thought led to the question: “What does the name EARTH mean?” You know the one that keeps us all grounded.

EARTH has different names; however a common thread in all languages was derived from the same meaning in their origins: ground or soil.

Genesis 1:1 as a statement that the cosmos had an absolute beginning (In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…)

Earth is the only planet in the Solar System with plate tectonics and consists of land, air, water and life.

Maybe walking isn’t good for my health after all? Oh Earth still grounds me—but to what?

We the People are living through a large-scale shooting off and none of us know where to.

“TO BE OR NOT TO BE…”

typewriter_legswtypewriter_sample_img_2         HAMLET – Act 3, Scene 1 {Shakespeare}

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
    And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural  shocks
That flesh is heir to, ’tis a consummation
    Devoutly to be wish’d.

William Shakespeare produced most of his known work between 1589 and 1613; yet relevant today. Like in Hamlet when he posed the above inquiry: “To be or not to be…” perhaps IS THE question forever borne by humankind? Why do I ask? Because I see it in every social medium and hear it in the Voice of The People.

“IT’S SUNDAY AND…”

In the heart of myself I ask this question: “Where is my Church of Place?

The God in each of us speaks many languages, holds many traditions and hears many voices that call to Him in their joy and sorrow. There are and always have been wars fought in the name of ideology. Yet, ne’er a whisper it was ever about God! So, I ask myself: “Now why is that?”

The question that rises immediately from the impossible to explain: “Why would we fight against the THAT that is US?”

Whatever and wherever Church of Place is for each of us, let us pray that God’s Prayers will always cover the whole of mankind.

The Pathway of Our Intention

I marvel, after-the-fact, at how my life continually changed direction; yet somehow ultimately led me to the path I was born to travel. We don’t recognize any pathway in our youth or middle years because we’re distracted by the hills and bumps and off-ramps we take; unwittingly. Nevertheless there comes a moment in life that we pause to look around and fearless, step onto the pathway of our intention.

To do so isn’t easy or obvious. But, it is rewarding when we meet ourselves unintended on the passageway engraved with our name. Was recognizing my footpath easy? Absolutely not! It required me to find: my voice, my joys and my dreams. It also required me to let go of my sorrows and resentments. But once I recognized my path, I silently promised, “I’m here, take me where you might.”

What is your intention? Where is your voice? Do you have dreams, yet unfulfilled? What brings joy to your being? Can you forgive? I place these questions here, not so you must answer them, but so you will live them. In this way the pathway to your intention will divulge its location.
