typewriter_legswtypewriter_sample_img_2CONSCIENCE… We all, so the story goes, have one. IT is described as: the intellect that distinguishes right from wrong; the capacity for moral awareness; a focus on sense and feeling; natural and/or supernatural. Socrates, so I’ve heard, recognized that the divine light of conscience of each person retains knowledge from before we are born and attests to the immortality of the soul.

For centuries the word CONSCIENCE (synonyms and antonyms) has been robustly researched, religiously defined and contentiously argued.

So, you may ask, why should I care? Well, Socrates laid the nature of CONSCIENCE out for all humankind: divine light; everlasting knowledge and the immortal soul. The choice is ours, of course: each time we take a breath.
